OPSB Introduces New Web-Based Access to Public Records

The Orleans Parish School Board is implementing an online system for processing public records requests. The new online portal will give the public the opportunity to submit a public records request, track its status, download responsive records and receive updates via email.
The online portal will provide a searchable archive of previously released requests and documents and address frequently asked questions. These capabilities will enable users to access information without filing a formal request.
Requesters may also communicate with staff through the portal regarding their requests and download requested electronic records. Public records requests can also still be submitted to the OPSB in writing, but the requests will be tracked internally through the new application.
