Orleans Parish School Board Broke Ground on $27.5 Million STEM-focused Building

The Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB) hosted a Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Albert Wicker site on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. The site, located at 2011 Bienville Street, will be home to the New Orleans Charter Science and Mathematics High School.
“We are excited to break ground on this new building, which will focus on STEM education,” said Dr. Henderson Lewis. “The $27.5 Million facility will feature an Engineering Lab, Advanced Technology Lab, Digital Graphics Lab, and a Computer Numerical Control Lab, among other features. New Orleans Charter Science & Mathematics High School will be able to greatly enhance their curriculum while also form a partnership with the Biomedical Corridor.”
