OPSB Announces Release Date for First Round of OneApp Results for 2019-2020 School Year

April 18, 2019

NEW ORLEANS – (April 17, 2019) – The Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB) will release the OneApp placement results to applicants next week by Wednesday, April 24, 2019. Families can expect to receive notification via text and email directing them to access the online portal when results are available.

The OneApp is the centralized school enrollment application for Orleans Parish public schools.  Through the application, the OPSB provides students and families with the opportunity to apply to schools that best suit their interests and needs.

“The Board, my team and I have made several critical moves to improve families’ overall experience with OneApp. Those improvements include enacting a system-wide Geographic Priority for families in walking distance of a school and ensuring the latest school letter grades and renewal decisions are updated before OneApp application cycles open.” said Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Henderson Lewis, Jr.

OneApp is the tool OPSB uses to facilitate centralized enrollment across most New Orleans K-12 public schools and publicly-funded early childhood seats.

Families who need help accessing their OneApp results may call or visit a Family Resource Center (FRC): 877-343-4773 | oneapp@opsb.us | www.EnrollNOLA.org. Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The OPSB currently oversees 79 public schools, including 75 charter schools, three direct-operated schools and a school with two educational programs for students in secure-care facilities. On July 1, all New Orleans public schools were unified under the oversight of the locally-elected Orleans Parish School Board for the first time since Hurricane Katrina and simultaneously OPSB absorbed the OneApp. Learn more about Unification here.
