Orleans Parish School Board Hosts Job Fair for Available Positions across New Orleans Public Schools

Prospective applicants met with representatives from 20 area public schools to discuss job opportunities for the upcoming school year
NEW ORLEANS – (June 10, 2019) – Today, the Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB) hosted a job fair at McDonogh 35 High School alongside representatives from 20 schools and Charter Management Organizations (CMOs) from across the city with current vacancies for the 2019-2020 school year. The job fair was attended by 150 prospective applicants applying for numerous positions, which included teachers, instructional coaches and other school administrative staff members.
“We are invested in the diversity of our schools’ staff and programs because it makes our entire district stronger and more inclusive,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Henderson Lewis, Jr. “We encourage the best educators to come, stay and grow in our district as we constantly work to provide an environment that is supportive of their needs.”
